In January 2023, IDPs received housing allowances totaling more than UAH 6.2 billion.

The number of internally displaced persons in Ukraine as a result of the aggression of the Russian Federation currently reaches more than 4.8 million people. These are only those citizens who have applied for registration.

According to the State Enterprise “Information and Computing Center of the Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine”, which provides centralized payment of accommodation allowances to IDPs, in January 2023, more than 100,000 people were registered (including those who relocated one more time), and more than 53,000 people returned home and were deregistered.

We are reminding that the accommodation allowance for IDPs is provided monthly for each internally displaced person in the following amounts:

– UAH 3 thousand for people with disabilities and children,

– for other persons – UAH 2 thousand.

You can get an IDP certificate and apply for a financial assistance payment for living expenses using the Diia app. In addition, internally displaced persons can apply in person to the social protection authorities, to the ASC or to an authorized person of the executive body of the village, town or city council.
