Since the beginning of winter, Ukrposhta has almost completely resumed its work in the de-occupied settlements of Mykolaiv region.
As of early February 2023, the post office returned to 76 out of 102 settlements.
Currently, there are 116 post offices and 67 mobile post offices in Mykolaiv region.
At the end of January, the post offices in the villages of Bilozirka and Kotlyareve, which are part of the Pervomaysk and Shevchenkove territorial communities, respectively, resumed operations.
These post offices serve almost 4,000 local residents: specialists deliver and receive parcels, pay pensions and social benefits.
In particular, cash assistance is provided by the Ukrainian Red Cross Society, which is being implemented as part of a joint project with the Ministry of Reintegration. Essential goods can also be purchased at the offices.
This month, Ukrposhta is preparing to reopen its offices in the villages of Pervomaisk and Shevchenkove, as well as launch additional mobile post offices. Thus, by the end of winter, the national postal operator is expected to complete the restoration of its operations in Mykolaiv region.
We are reminding that Ukrposhta has allowed receiving parcels without showing the IDs.
