This is what Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Iryna Vereshchuk stated on the air of “Crimea. Realities” program. She explained that the creation of a personnel reserve is the basis for preparing for the de-occupation and reintegration of the peninsula. Therefore, a corresponding order of the Cabinet of Ministers is currently being prepared.

“Based on the experience of the de-occupied Kharkiv and Kherson regions, we are preparing personnel in advance. A number of meetings were held, central executive authorities and RMAs were instructed to submit their proposals. By the end of February, we will receive their responses, summarize them and in March we will come up with an initiative on the framework for the formation of a personnel reserve,” the Vice Prime Minister said.

According to her, the chosen officials will perform tasks in the areas of security, law enforcement, local government, etc. The most important requirements for applicants will be their patriotism and professionalism.

“Such people will form not only the reserve of the leadership, but also the entire vertical of power that will restore statehood in our Ukrainian de-occupied Crimea. Among them must be representatives of indigenous peoples who have been oppressed throughout the years of occupation,” summarized Iryna Vereshchuk.
