Starting tomorrow, regions adjacent to the combat zone will start receiving free fuel wood to heat their homes.

In accordance with the Government’s decision, residents of 8 frontline regions, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Mykolaiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Kherson, Dnipro and Chernihiv, will receive it delivered to their homes.

Who is eligible for such assistance from the government and what is required?

First, you need to submit an application to local authorities. In the infographic below, we are describing in detail who is eligible for the assistance and what documents are required.

We are reminding that all households in the above regions can apply for free fuelwood. However, it will be provided on a priority basis, taking into account the vulnerability criteria of the population categories. The priority order is determined by the regional military administrations.
