This belief was expressed by Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Iryna Vereshchuk during her visit to Rivne region. She shared her own observations: the example of this region clearly shows that IDPs who have jobs are trying to leave places of compact residence and arrange their lives in communities. Employment brings them not only material but also emotional satisfaction.

“Over the past year, all IDPs from Rivne region who have found work here have usually moved from dormitories to individual rented flats. For some reason, the rest are not very willing to look for work. That is why I support the RMA’s efforts to facilitate the employment of IDPs as soon as possible. People should not remain isolated in their dormitories. They should consider the communities as their own and not be guests there. Children should go to school, attend clubs, sports clubs, etc. Those who follow such principles have long been socialized in a new place and are enjoying such a life,” the Vice Prime Minister summarized.

We are reminding that the Government has improved the program of compensation payments to employers for hiring IDPs.
