This is what Deputy Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk announced on the air of a national news telethon. She clarified that the developed document is awaiting approval by the Government. It is the Strategy of State Policy on Internal Displacement until 2025.

“The strategy is primarily our experience, which we gained in the first months of the full-scale war. Then we worked in a crisis response mode. Now the Government has fully mastered the situation, we control all processes related to the evacuation of people and their placement in safe regions,” the official added.

The Ministry of Reintegration notes that the evacuation is planned. Everyone who wants to leave now has the necessary information and knows who to contact. All types of assistance have been organized: humanitarian, financial, etc.

“The adoption of the new Strategy will allow us to comprehensively address all issues related to IDPs. It provides for all stages, from the decision to relocate IDPs to the period when a person decides to return to the de-occupied and safe territory,” summarized Iryna Vereshchuk.
