Today Ukraine marks the Day of Resistance to the Occupation of Crimea. The corresponding decree was signed by President Volodymyr Zelensky on February 26th, 2020.
On this day in 2014, thousands of Crimean Tatars, Ukrainians and representatives of other nationalities gathered in front of the Supreme Council of Crimea in Simferopol. They began to resist the Russian occupiers, which continues to this day.
The Crimean resistance will continue until the complete de-occupation of the peninsula, which will definitely happen!
