The Cabinet of Ministers has clearly defined the procedure and order for entering data into the information system of the list of territories where hostilities are being (were) conducted or temporarily occupied by the Russian Federation.
Step one: regional and Kyiv city military administrations make proposals.
Step two: the Ministry of Defense immediately approves the proposals or reasonably rejects them.
The final step: the Ministry of Reintegration approves or reasonably rejects the proposals without delay.
Moreover, the changes clearly define the criteria for classifying territories as possible combat zones. The territory must meet one of the following criteria:
– to border with the territories of active hostilities or temporarily occupied territories of the Russian Federation;
– to borders with the state border of the aggressor state.
Such changes will significantly optimize the process of compiling the list of territories. This will help to protect the interests of internally displaced persons, as payments are made to these persons based on the list of territories.
We are reminding that the Government has improved the procedure for issuing certificates of captivity to servicemen.
