This is what Deputy Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk stated during a national news telethon.

“The enemy also resorts to gross deception of gullible people. The occupiers offer children “vacation” or “sanatorium treatment” in Russia. Some gullible parents even give their written consent. And then they have problems. Some of them cannot find their children. Some are forced to go to Russia to get their children, but cannot get back out of there,” the official said.

“Just imagine that during World War II a Nazi walks into a Ukrainian home and offers to send your children to Germany for rest or treatment. The situation is absurd and impossible, you might say. But this is exactly how the Russians act. Therefore, I urge our citizens in the TOT not to be gullible. Do not let your children go on any vacation to Russia,” Iryna Vereshchuk urged.

The Ministry of Reintegration calls on the residents of the temporarily occupied territories: in no case do not sign any permits or other documents at the request of the occupiers regarding your children!

We are reminding that the Presidential Decree introduced personal sanctions against Russians involved in the deportation of Ukrainian children.
