This is what Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Iryna Vereshchuk stated during a news telethon. She emphasized that the issue of returning deported children is now under the personal control of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

“The President’s Office has a Coordination Council on Child Protection and Safety, headed by Andriy Yermak. We have two goals: the return of deported children and the punishment of those responsible for deportation. There are currently two priorities. Firstly, the formation of an appropriate international coalition. Secondly, the adoption of the presidential law on the return of deported children,” the official said.
