Due to the redistribution of state budget expenditures, additional funds in the amount of over UAH 21 million were raised for the social protection of persons deprived of their personal liberty as a result of russia’s armed aggression against Ukraine.

The Ministry of Reintegration is the main administrator of the program funds.

The money will be used to pay annual state aid to people who have been deprived of their personal liberty as a result of armed aggression against Ukraine, or to their family members during their stay in detention.

The funds will also be used to provide military and civilian prisoners with packages of necessities, which they receive immediately after their release.
