Polish President Andrzej Duda signs a law amending the law on assistance to Ukrainian citizens in connection with Russian aggression. The document has been published and is available here.
The amendments extend the period of legal stay of Ukrainians in Poland who have arrived in the country since February 24, 2022. The period of stay has been extended until March 4, 2024 (previously until August 24, 2023).
For Ukrainian students studying in Polish educational institutions, the stay has been extended until August 31, 2024.
This also applies to parents and guardians of minor students.
These changes will come into force 14 days after the date of publication.
