Vice Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk announced this during a live broadcast on “Suspilne” TV.  According to Iryna Vereshchuk, the Government adopted this order during its last meeting.

The decision concerns the communities affected by the emergency caused by the damage to the Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Plant dam.

The commissions must appear immediately.  The Kherson Regional Military Administration will control the creation of this commission.

“The Government’s resolution stipulates that local governments must establish such commissions as soon as possible. They should operate in every settlement and territorial community affected by flooding. Their task is to record the facts of damage and destruction of property. Their work will determine the speed of preparing acts, entering data into the register, and receiving compensation,” the Vice Prime Minister summarized.
