Under the leadership of Vice Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk, a meeting was held to discuss the challenges faced by Ukrainians seeking asylum in Poland. In particular, they discussed the right of our citizens to free education in a neighboring country.

As a result of the meeting, the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Poland provided a relevant clarification. It is noted that Ukrainians who enjoy temporary protection in the territory of this country can receive specialized training free of charge at the College of further education.

People with secondary or specialized secondary education are admitted to the college of further education. The training lasts 1 to 2.5 years, depending on the chosen specialty. The form of education can be both stationary and correspondence.

Upon completion of the course, a person can obtain a specialized diploma by passing an exam in a particular profession.  This document allows the graduate to be legally employed in Poland or another EU country.
