On June 20, a State Emergency Service officer, Kyrylo Sydorchuk, died while performing tasks to eliminate the consequences of flooding in one of the districts of Kherson.

Another 8 SES employees were injured. While doing their job, the rescue team got under enemy fire.

The family lost their son, father, and husband.
