Vice Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk said this during a national news marathon.
” russians deliberately blew up the Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Plant, causing a major technological disaster. They do not open humanitarian corridors. They do not allow international humanitarian organizations to help the victims. It’s a cynical disregard for the existence of the UN and its humanitarian mission,” the Vice Prime Minister emphasized.
” Then the question arises: why is russia a member of the UN at all? Why is there a UN that includes russia, which ignores international law and the UN itself? It is clear that after our Victory, international humanitarian law and the role of international humanitarian organizations will be subject to a significant revision,” summarized Iryna Vereshchuk.
