Under the procedural supervision of the Juvenile Prosecutor’s Office of the General Prosecutor’s Office, three people were served with suspicion notices for the deportation and forced transfer of 48 status children from the Kherson Children’s Home. The Prosecutor General’s Office reported this.

Among the suspects are State Duma deputy Igor Kastyukevich, the head of the illegally created by the occupation authorities “Department of Health of Kherson Region” Vadim Ilmiev, and Tatyana Zavalska, acting chief physician of the Kherson Regional Children’s Home.

The perpetrators illegally took the Ukrainian children to a moscow hospital for a supposed examination. Before that, the children were held in a “baby home” illegally created by the occupation authorities based on the Kherson Regional Children’s Home.

The suspects’ actions are classified as a criminal offense – violation of laws and customs of war.
