Today, the Government House under the chairmanship of Deputy Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk held an interdepartmental meeting on the creation of a reserve of government employees to work in the de-occupied territories of Ukraine. Includes education and health care workers

The event was attended by Natalia Alushina, Head of the National Agency for Civil Service, Tamila Tasheva, Permanent Representative of the President in the Republic of Crimea, representatives of the Ministry of Education and Science, the Ministry of Health and other interested authorities.

The participants of the meeting noted that on July 3 the information and communication system “Reserve for Public Service in the De-occupied Territories” was launched. On the platform reserve.nads.gov.ua anyone can fill in a questionnaire and become a member of the personnel reserve.

According to Natalia Alyushina, almost 350 people registered on the platform in the first week, and the number is growing. More than three hundred questionnaires have been processed to date, which means that these people have already been enrolled in the reserve.

Citizens can choose their own region. Nearly 80% of them choose Crimea. But other regions are also mentioned: Zaporizhia, Donetsk, and Luhansk.

In addition to restoring governmental authority, it is important to provide medical care in the liberated areas. The Ministry of Health is finalizing an electronic registry of health workers who are willing to work there.

The challenges that will arise after the de-occupation also apply to the education sector. Firstly, we are talking about the return of children to the national education system, as well as the recognition of relevant documents obtained in the de-occupied territories.

Iryna Vereshchuk emphasized that it is obvious that Ukraine will never recognize the diplomas of the occupiers. At the same time, the official instructed the Ministry of Education and Science to develop a clear algorithm for recognizing the professional qualifications of people who were forced to study and receive education under occupation.

“It is difficult to overstate the importance of the talent pool for our de-occupied territories. The citizens, who in the first days applied to the recovery reserve, are a proof of their belief in the inevitable de-occupation of all Ukrainian territories. I would like to thank the Office of the President, the Cabinet of Ministers and the Parliament for their participation in this process. I encourage Ukrainians to join the reserve, choose their direction and prepare to go to the liberated territories to restore the state and statehood there,” concluded Iryna Vereshchuk.
