The Blessed Kliment Sheptytsky Foundation continues to implement the supporting program for Ukrainian women released from Russian captivity.
The Office of the Prime Minister of Poland and the Ministry of Reintegration initiated the program. The Government of Poland provides these funds.
At the last meeting of the Fund’s Commission, it was decided to provide financial assistance to 22 women released from captivity. Each will receive a one-time financial assistance of 10 thousand zlotys (about 90 thousand hryvnias) before tax.
The commission also includes a representative of the National Information Bureau under the Ministry of Reintegration, which manages information on prisoners of war.
Applications for financial assistance under this program will be accepted until August 30, 2023, or until funds are exhausted. You can apply by completing the electronic form here.
In 2022, 180 Ukrainian women released from captivity received financial assistance from the Klymentiy Sheptytskyy Foundation.
