During martial law, there are certain peculiarities regarding the validity of passport documents.
Upon reaching a certain age (25 and 45), a new photo must be added to the passport. However, if such a photo is not affixed during martial law for one reason or another, the passport remains valid during martial law and for 30 days thereafter. The State Migration Service of Ukraine provided the following clarification.
The State Migration Service also clarified that if a passport card expires, the document will remain valid for the duration of martial law and 30 days after.
