In mid-July, the Cabinet of Ministers changed the rules for granting housing allowances to internally displaced persons (IDPs).

According to these changes, one person from the entire family must apply for the housing allowance, not each family member separately. These changes were to take effect on August 1, 2023, and apply to IDPs using assistance for the first time.

But today, the government has delayed the implementation of this innovation until November 1, 2023.
