The relevant appeal of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration was considered at a meeting of the Coordination Headquarters for the Forced Evacuation of the Population under Martial Law.

The participants voted unanimously in favor of the forced evacuation of children from nine other settlements in the Donetsk region located near the areas of hostilities.

These are Yampil, Zarichne, Torske, Opyksyvatka, Nikonorivka, Malynivka, Tykhonivka, Vasyutynske and Rai Oleksandrivka. Due to the difficult security situation and enemy shelling, 130 children will be forcibly evacuated.

The Coordination Center also considered the status of the evacuation of civilians from Sumy region. To date, 1718 people have been evacuated from the 5-kilometer danger zone, including 228 children. There are no people left in 21 settlements. Evacuation efforts continue.

Iryna Vereshchuk thanked the leadership of the aforementioned JMAs and the regions that will receive IDPs. She also called for greater involvement of international aid agencies in assisting evacuees and those who remain in dangerous areas.
