To date, 4,618 IDP doctors have taken advantage of the opportunity to work in a medical facility in another region. Most of them are doctors, the rest are medical assistants and technicians.

The largest number of employed doctors and other medical professionals is registered in Lviv, Dnipropetrovsk, Poltava, and Zaporizhia regions.

The mechanism of providing jobs for health workers who lost the opportunity to work at their main place of employment due to the war is established by the Order of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine dated 04.03.2022 No. 414.

We are talking about the temporary inclusion of IDPs in health facilities. In this case, the healthcare worker’s hours are recorded at the facility to which he or she is assigned. The data is sent to the institution at the main place of work, after which the healthcare worker receives a salary.
