The Kherson Regional Military Administration (RMA) is now accepting documents from those who wish to join the Council for Internally Displaced Persons.

IDPs registered in the Kherson region and representatives of civil society organizations working to protect the rights of IDPs in the region are invited to join the Council.

Documents will be accepted until August 23, 2023, by email: [email protected]. You can find a list of them and more detailed information about them here.

As a reminder, the government recently approved the regulations on IDP councils in local governments. The Council should be composed of 18 persons, 9 of whom should be IDPs, 6 representatives of the institution under which the Council was established, and 3 representatives of public associations defending the rights of IDPs.

The main tasks of such councils include the promotion of social protection of IDPs, their employment, housing, psychosocial, medical, and legal assistance, etc.
