At the last meeting on veterans’ policy, chaired by Vice Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk, the results of the regional veterans’ forum “Communities to Defenders” were discussed. The event was held as part of the work of the Civilian Support Coordination Center of the Cherkasy Regional Military Administration.

 

The participants of the forum shared their experience in adapting the defenders and veterans to a peaceful life. In particular, their rehabilitation, the provision of quality social and medical services, etc.

 

There were three discussion panels:

 

– “A rehabilitated defender is a capable society”;

– “Tools for the Rehabilitation and Reintegration of Veterans into Communities”;

 

– “Strengthening the competitiveness of criminal defense attorneys in the labor market and business”.

 

“Municipalities should be prepared for the return of veterans. It is necessary to prepare the infrastructure of veterans, including the corps of veteran managers,” the Vice Prime Minister said.
