Ukrainians who have reached the age of 14 can simultaneously apply for an internal passport in the form of an ID card and identification code.

The following documents are required:
– A birth certificate or other document verifying the fact of birth;
– Original documents confirming the citizenship and identity of the parents or one of them;
– Certificate of registration of a person as a citizen of Ukraine (for a person whose parents/one of the parents was a foreigner/stateless person at the time of his/her birth. Or if the person acquired Ukrainian citizenship on the territory of Ukraine);
– Passport of a citizen of Ukraine for traveling abroad (for a person permanently residing abroad).
