Vice Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk held a meeting to draft amendments to several resolutions of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine to update their provisions.

These are the resolutions of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine “On Registration of Internally Displaced Persons”, “Some issues of payment of housing allowance to internally displaced persons” and “Some issues of assistance to internally displaced persons”.

The representatives of the Ministry of Reintegration, the Ministry of Social Policy, the Human Rights Commissioner of the Ukrainian Parliament, regional military administrations, and civil society organizations attended the event.

Among other things, they considered proposals to change the conditions for granting or renewing payments to IDPs upon their return from abroad. This includes those who evacuated from dangerous areas to other countries or who did not receive a certificate of registration as internally displaced persons.

The participants of the meeting also discussed proposals for amendments to the resolutions on the registration of internally displaced persons in employment centers and the facilitation of their employment.
