Today, over 26,000 individuals are classified as missing under extraordinary circumstances.  Out of these, 11,000 non-combatants and 15,000 Ukrainian military personnel are reported as missing and sought after.

Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs, Leonid Tymchenko, stated this during the broadcast of the national telethon.

The information on each missing person is registered and entered into the Unified Register of Missing Persons in Special Circumstances.

As of today, nearly 9,000 families have received extracts from the register.
