The European Union has officially approved a decision to extend temporary protection for Ukrainians until March 4, 2025. The European Commission website reports this.

It was adopted to support Ukrainians who were forced to go abroad because of the war.

To remind you, on September 27, 2023, the ministers reached a political agreement to extend the temporary protection until March 4, 2025. On October 19, the decision was officially taken.

Several rights are guaranteed to Ukrainians granted temporary protection. In particular, the right to employment, education, health care, and residence permits.
