This was discussed at a special meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers held on the instructions of the Presidium of the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities under the President of Ukraine.

Ensuring access to television, radio and the Internet was on the agenda. Special attention was paid to the front line and the de-occupied territories.

The leaders of the local military groups and the head of the State Service for Information and Communication provided updates about the availability of radio, television, and internet connections in the border areas of Sumy and Chernihiv.

As a result of the meeting, the Ministry of Digital Transformation, the State Special Communications Service, and the Regional Military Administration were given clear directions. To set up signals in places without them and give Internet access in faraway communities, including through starlinks.
