Since February 2022, 840 businesses relocated to safer regions in Ukraine through the relocation program. Out of these, 667 are now operating in their new location. Opendatabot provided these statistics.

Many companies have selected Transcarpathian region for their new location. In fact, 120 companies have already relocated there. Also, 199 companies relocated to Lviv region.

Other popular areas include Chernivtsi region – with 78 relocators, and Ivano-Frankivsk region – with 70.

The government’s relocation program for Ukrainian companies allows businesses located in areas close to the war zone to relocate their production facilities to 16 regions of the country.

After approval, the company will get a set of state aid:

– Choose a location;
– Help with moving;
– Aid in relocating current staff and hiring new employees;
– Assistance with re-establishing logistics, acquiring raw materials, and discovering new markets.
