The number of vacancies in the Ukrainian labor market is growing. Representatives of labor and trade professions are in the greatest demand. This is stated on the website of the State Employment Service.

In September 2023, there were 103 thousand vacancies in the database of the State Employment Service (SES). In July, there were 83 thousand vacancies.

The largest number of job offers were registered with the employment services of Kyiv and Lviv regions – 11 thousand vacancies each, Dnipropetrovsk region – 5 thousand, Kyiv region – 4 thousand, Odesa region – 4 thousand.

The SES noted that the growth in employer demand for workers is evidence of a gradual recovery in the country’s economic activity: last year, an average of 9 people applied for each open position. Today, there are only two applicants for each open position.
