The rules for processing payments to internally displaced persons (IDPs) have changed as of November 1 this year. This applies to IDPs who are first seeking such assistance from the state.

In particular, from now on, one person from the whole family must apply for IDP payments, not each family member separately.

This means a monthly state housing allowance of 3,000 UAH for people with disabilities and children and 2,000 UAH for all other IDPs.

Assistance is given to each family member listed in the Unified Information Database on IDPs.

These changes are provided for by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine ¹ 789 of July 31, 2023.
