The European Commission is providing €110 million in humanitarian aid to Ukrainians affected by the war. The European Commission website announced this.
The majority of the amount – €100 million – will be allocated to operations in Ukraine. This new funding will help the EU’s humanitarian partners to provide essential support and protection.
This includes the provision of cash assistance, food, water, shelter, health care, psychosocial support, and other services.
Another €10 million to support Ukrainian refugees and host communities in Moldova.
Since February 2022, the European Commission allocated €843 million to humanitarian aid programs for civilians affected by the war in Ukraine. This includes €785 million for Ukraine and €58 million for refugees that have fled to neighboring Moldova.
