Since the start of 2023, banks have granted 23.5 thousand loans to businesses via the Affordable Loans 5-7-9% initiative, a total of 88 billion UAH. The Government portal reported.

Last week, 500 business owners received loans for 2.5 billion UAH.

The most frequent lenders under the program are enterprises operating in the following sectors:

– agriculture (50%)

– wholesale and retail trade (26%);

– processing industry (15%).

Lviv, Odesa, Dnipro, Kharkiv, Kyiv, Vinnytsia regions, and the city of Kyiv are the leaders among the regions in terms of loan agreements.

Currently, 45 banks are involved in the program.

The government launched the “Affordable Loans 5-7-9%” program in March of this year. It’s for business owners from areas with hostilities and de-occupied territories, on the initiative of the Ministry of Reintegration.
