As of November 29, more than 49.2 million UAH have been transferred to regional budgets. The money will pay for the utilities used by institutions that housed internally displaced people for free from May to July 2023.

This includes municipal institutions, state educational institutions transferred for financing from local budgets, and jointly owned institutions of territorial communities of the region and district managed by regional and district councils.

The Government provided these funds from the reserve fund of the State budget. The Ministry of Reintegration followed the Cabinet of Ministers’ order and dispersed them to local budgets to cover compensation to the structures that sheltered the IDPs.
