More than half of Americans support arms sales to Ukraine. According to a sociological survey commissioned by the Reagan National Defense Survey, Defense News reports.
According to recent polls in the United States, 59% of Americans support military aid to Ukraine, while only 30% oppose it.
However, the number of supporters of providing military assistance to Ukraine increases to 67% when respondents are reminded of the Reagan Doctrine, which provides support for America’s allies around the world.
The study authors point out that presenting the matter in this way boosts backing for Ukraine, both among the American political establishment and overall.
According to Rachel Hoff, who works in policy at the Reagan Institute, most Democrats and Republicans consistently support Ukraine on this issue.
