The Ukraine National Bank removed bans on banks and financial institutions selling cash currency to the public. The institution announced this on its website.

As a reminder, this year on August 29 the monthly currency sales limit was set at up to 50 thousand UAH equivalent.

Currency restrictions have been lifted. The regulator says this will reduce the gap between cash and non-cash exchange rates. It will also stabilize exchange rate expectations and increase the foreign exchange market’s stability.
