In ten months of 2023, humanitarian organizations provided help to 10 million Ukrainians. The UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) reported this.

The OCHA provided medical care to 7.2 million people between January and October this year. 4.1 million Ukrainians had their food and livelihood needs met. Additionally, 5.8 million people have access to hygienic products and clean water.

Humanitarian aid was given to almost 2 million teachers and students so they could continue their education. The same number of people have been provided with social and legal protection services.

Furthermore, 800,000 people got help as a part of mine action and mine risk education.

Throughout the year, 540 organizations responded to the humanitarian crisis. Over 2/3 of these were Ukrainian non-governmental organizations, with approximately 120 international NGOs and 10 UN agencies also taking part.
