At the end of June 2023, the first meeting of the Civilian Support Coordination Center under the Zhytomyr Regional Military Administration occurred.
Currently, the Coordination Center at the Zhytomyr Regional Military Administration is in charge:
– 88 thousand IDPs, including 16.5 thousand children;
– 2.7 thousand people with disabilities;
– 10.5 thousand elderly people;
– 352 IDP families with many children.
In Zhytomyr region, there are 113 social support programs for vulnerable citizens, including veterans, their families, and families of fallen or missing defenders of Ukraine.
International organizations are working on projects to recover and develop the region. These organizations include UNHCR, IOM, UNICEF, UNDP in Ukraine, Ukrainian Red Cross Society, USAID, and others.
