European Council President Charles Michel has reported on his X-account that negotiations will begin on Ukraine’s accession to the EU.

The President of the European Council stated that the European Union leaders decided to begin negotiations for Ukraine and Moldova to join the European community.

The EU leaders’ decision means that the European Commission will promptly begin working on the technical aspects of the membership negotiations with Ukraine.
