The weekly meeting on veterans’ policy reviewed the progress of implementing a veteran’s assistant in Dnepropetrovsk region.

The project involved 19 municipalities. Eight people who received training at the Veteran Development Center have worked in five of them.

Eighteen candidates have completed the training successfully. Jobs in the Veterans Affairs service offices have already been created for them.

To ensure that the interview is attended by a certified specialist with knowledge of the law and an understanding of their professional responsibilities, it is necessary to improve the process of selecting and training such candidates. Additionally, regulating their remuneration remains an important issue.

After the meeting, Iryna Vereshchuk instructed the Ministry of Veterans Affairs and the Dnipro Regional Military Administration to collaborate on the issue and submit proposals.
