The Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War, the Joint Center at the Security Service of Ukraine, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Sumy Region, and the State Border Guard Service worked together to transfer the bodies. Ukraine’s security and defense sector collaborated with other offices to carry out the task, with the assistance of the International Committee of the Red Cross. 

The Ukrainian Armed Forces will transport the bodies and remains of those repatriated to designated state institutions. Law enforcement officials and forensic experts will then identify the victims.
