We are specifically referring to the mechanisms used to confirm property rights registration and the operations of the penitentiary system. Additionally, we will discuss lustration measures as a tool for overcoming the consequences of the war and the creation of a reserve of employees for work in the DOT.

The meeting participants discussed these issues regarding the resumption of work at justice bodies in the DOT.

The Ministry of Reintegration, with representatives from the public sector, particularly the ZMINA Human Rights Center, has already drafted the general strategy for restoring state power and reintegrating the DOT population. According to its provisions, the main goal of state policy should be to create conditions that enable the realization and protection of the population’s rights.

Additionally, some ministries are developing their concept

The Ministry of Justice has joined this process. Their initial step towards creating their reintegration vision is to establish a working group.

Representatives from the judiciary will also participate in the development of the strategy.

“After the de-occupation of Ukrainian territories, we will face the task of promptly restoring the work of the judicial system. To achieve this, an effective and practical action plan must be developed,” said Vice Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk.
