The Cabinet of Ministers has decided to extend compensation terms and amounts to employers for labor costs related to the employment of internally displaced persons (IDPs) and those with disabilities. The Government portal reports.

Employers who hire internally displaced persons will now receive compensation for expenses for up to three months, and up to six months for those who hire IDPs with disabilities.

The compensations will also change in amount. Previously, they were paid at 6,700 UAH per month, but now such compensation is linked to the minimum wage, which will be 7,100 UAH from January 1 and 8,000 UAH from April 1.

If an employer hires an IDP, they will be entitled to compensation of up to 24,000 UAH per person the following year. For IDPs with disabilities, these payments may amount to up to 48,000 UAH for each employee.
