The project has been ongoing for nearly a month. During this time, we have formed five teams of social service providers and identified the units they work with. We have reached over 250 military personnel and their families thus far.
These specialists serve as a connection to civilian life for veterans. They assist in resolving social issues and provide guidance and advice on accessing quality social support in their local community.
We are working to resolve issues to improve the service delivery mechanism as much as possible. This requires a needs assessment and effective communication with military units and communities.
Last week, we discussed the project’s next steps with the region’s military administrations. We plan to meet with responsible community representatives in January.
They will discuss how to provide the service, exchange information, and use tools to continue the work successfully.
