The ‘Restore Home’ program finances construction work to restore residential buildings of condominiums damaged due to russia’s military aggression against Ukraine. The Ministry of Infrastructure reported this.
The program was implemented in November 2022. Since then, it has paid out over 278 million UAH to participants and received applications for over 80 million UAH. Thanks to the program, almost 17,000 families have returned home, and this number is expected to increase to 30,000.
The program’s geography has expanded to cover all of Ukraine, except for the temporarily occupied territories and areas of active hostilities.
In 2023, several additional changes were introduced:
– The ‘RestoreHouse’ program established and developed the maximum unit costs used;
– It is now possible to submit the minutes of the condominium board meeting to the Fund;
– The list of required documents now includes an extract from the State Register of Damaged Property;
– The requirements for construction companies and other contractors have been clarified.
