More than 8,000 entrepreneurs have hired 14,400 IDPs. The Government portal reports.

To receive the funds, the employer must sign an employment contract (including a part-time contract) or a gig contract with the internally displaced person. Then, the employer should apply for compensation through the Diia portal or in paper form at the employment center along with a package of required documents.

In April 2022, the Government launched a program to encourage entrepreneurs to hire IDPs. The program aims to accelerate the adaptation of people who were forced to move to safer regions and increase employment among the population.

Starting from January 1, 2024, the compensation amount will increase to 7100 UAH per month. In April, it will increase to 8000 UAH.

The Government extended the compensation duration from 2 to 3 months. Employers can receive compensation for 6 months for employing IDPs with disabilities.
