The Ministry of Reintegration allocated 658 million UAH last year to pay state financial assistance to individuals released from captivity and family members of those currently in captivity.

It is a one-time and annual assistance of 100 thousand hryvnias. The money is transferred to the bank accounts of those released from captivity and the families of political prisoners, civilian hostages, and prisoners of war.

The commission working under the Ministry of Reintegration has established that these individuals were deprived of their liberty due to armed aggression against Ukraine.

This year, the Ministry of Reintegration will continue transferring funds to pay state aid to former prisoners of war and family members of persons held in enemy captivity.
