It was presented at a weekly veterans policy meeting.

The study focuses on two groups of people affected by the war: combatants and those who have been disabled.

Basic social services should be effectively provided for these categories, especially at the community level. It is important to ensure that everyone has access to the services they need.

To assess their needs, providers of such services from civil society and international organizations should prioritize individual requests from communities.

To ensure their effectiveness, it is important to analyze special programs for veterans and identify any missing components.

The participants unanimously agreed that support for veterans should be personalized. Some may prioritize education, while others may prioritize medical services.

Iryna Vereshchuk, Vice Prime Minister, thanked the participants for their work. “The veterans should receive comprehensive support after demobilization. To support communities effectively, it is important to understand the type of assistance they require.”
